Cove 55

We stayed in the ocean villa from 8-10 Jan 26. The villa was beautiful, and the sound of the waves made it very relaxing. Everyone on staff was friendly and professional. It rained heavily twice, so we asked for buggy service, and they responded promptly. We ate breakfast and dinner at the in-house restaurant, kechala. There were plenty of breakfast choices, and dinner was delicious. I highly recommend both the resort and the food at kechala.

I've eaten at Kechala twice, once for dinner and once for lunch with my family. Both visits were consistently excellent. The dishes looked beautiful and tasted just as good, with portions, flavours and creativity all on point. It's a calm, elegant setting for a special occasion or a good family meal, and the staff were friendly and attentive each time. Highly recommended for good food in a lovely setting away from the city centre.

We stayed in the Family Villa and found it comfortable, with cosy beds and everything we needed. The staff were warm and helpful, and even put together a small room decoration for our celebration. The pool was a short walk away, with lovely views of the South China Sea and majestic Mount Santubong.

The setting at Cove55 felt like paradise, so peaceful, with the mountain to look up at, the sea to look out over, and lovely surrounding plants and wildlife. I loved swimming in the calm pool while listening to the waves along the shore. Everything was kept pristine, and the traditional rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The beach bags were a favourite, and I enjoyed learning the history too. Booking the package was easy. Emailing the team was straightforward and informative, and the driver picked us up from the airport right on time. We were looked after from the start. Our tours were timed perfectly and we felt so well cared for throughout. The food was delicious, and as vegans we often struggle to find places to eat, but their plant-based menu had so many options that we never went hungry. The waiters and waitresses were welcoming and quickly got to know us, which made it all feel personal. A huge thank you to everyone at Cove55 for making us feel so welcome.
