The location was handy for us during our stay from Nov 18 to Dec 13. Kuching town is about 10 minutes away, and Viva Shopping Mall, Taman Sahabat, Aeon shopping mall and other places in the city are roughly 20 minutes away. There are some nice traditional food shops nearby, and the front desk staff were good and generally friendly. I found the breakfast menu rather boring, since I had the same dishes each day: cabbage, fried rice, fried eggs, fried noodles and fruit. They could change the cabbage for another vegetable and vary the rice, noodles, eggs and fruit while keeping to about the same value, without extra cost to the hotel. A mini fridge in the room would also give guests another reason to stay.

The room was big, with two queen beds, and the bedsheets were fresh and clean. The cleaner did a good job, and a service staff member helped carry our luggage to the room. The receptionist was professional and told me I could check in early because the room was ready. The location is central, with a hawker centre downstairs. Well recommended!

We found the breakfast food in bad condition, including bread with mold in the picture. For such a mediocre experience, I felt the hotel was expensive. We wasted our time and money, and I don't recommend staying here. I didn't like the experience at all. The staff were rude and didn't even say hello when we walked in. The front desk seemed uncomfortable or unhappy working there. We never saw the manager during working hours, and from our experience, he didn't seem to be checking on guests or making sure problems were resolved. The hotel doesn't seem to care about its customers, just taking their money and running. Change the management as soon as possible if you want the place to work.

Everything about the hotel was good except for one staff member's bad attitude and poor customer service. I checked in at 3pm on 20/11/2025 and faced a rude woman at reception. Manager, please train your staff properly and improve this.

My husband and I had a good, clean room, and the channels were okay too. There was no Netflix, but we didn't mind. The main thing was that we slept well on the second floor. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, plus a pet shop where you can visit and see reptiles and a raccoon. On 16 October 2025, the reception counter was under renovation.
