The location is very strategic, and the room and bathroom are both reasonably spacious. But the smoke smell was hard to ignore: the hallway and room both reeked of cigarettes. The air conditioning was extremely cold, and I couldn't change it because there was no remote. The shower pressure was very low, and the toilet was clogged and wouldn't flush.

Everything else was good, but the water pressure was low. I hope the hotel management can do something about it.

The location was good, but the motel was old, dark, and dirty. The hallway smelled of smoke even though there was a No Smoking sign, and the toilet and bath looked dirty. Room 105 felt creepy. The shower suddenly turned on by itself at night. I checked out and don't recommend it.

For the price, I decided to take a chance despite the low reviews, and I don't regret it. My single room was clean and spacious, the air conditioning cooled quickly and had a working remote, and there was a kettle in the room. It's an old motel, but the owner seems to have made an effort to refurbish it on a budget. The bathroom is big and old-fashioned, with a bathtub that can't be used, maybe a trace of the hotel's heyday. The bathroom door can't be closed from outside because the latch has been removed and painted over. There's a supermarket next door and a bus stop just a short walk away, which matters to me as a backpacker. I may stay here again on a future visit.
