The staff were friendly, and the price I got was okay at rm23 perday. But the rooms weren't very nice: the carpet looked dirty and the toilet wasn't clean. The air conditioner in the family room leaked, and all the hotel did was put a towel on the floor. They offered no solution. At a higher price, these rooms wouldn't be worth it. I wouldn't book here again because I can find a cleaner room elsewhere.

The room felt old, dull and dark, and there wasn't even a window. It had no hairdryer or water dispenser, the shower had no showerhead and weak pressure, and the toilet door didn't open or shut smoothly. There was also a hole in the ceiling. The sheets, carpet and towels all felt dirty, and there wasn't a proper table. You have to climb some stairs to reach the room too. This is the worst hotel I've stayed in so far. Think twice before booking.

The one thing I can say in the hotel's favor is its location in the middle of the city. Everything else was very bad. The receptionist was rude, and the room was heavily moldy, hard to breathe in and badly lit. The roof leaked, and the stairs upstairs were covered in dust. I'm deeply disappointed. If you're looking for a hotel in the city centre, don't book this one. The room really isn't suitable for humans.

The location makes it easy to reach the waterfront, but I wouldn’t stay here again. My room was dark, dirty, and smelled rotten, and the corridor felt creepy and gloomy. The carpet clearly hadn’t been vacuumed, with dust and hair visible. During our three nights, they didn’t replace the mineral water or toilet tissue, and on my last day there was no water at all. Better to find another inn or hotel.

The front desk service from the Malay guy was polite and welcoming, and the room was comfortable enough for a one-night stay. It’s handy for tourist spots, the mall, and finding food, so it worked well for a night’s rest. I paid a RM50 deposit. The room had a towel and was clean, including the toilet and bathroom. There’s no lift, though, so expect stairs up to the third floor. The TV has plenty of channels, including HBO, but the picture needs fixing because it wasn’t clear.
