OYO 253 Hotel El Ray

For the October 2017 MotoGP event, we’d booked a hotel through Agoda the previous April. It was listed as OYO ROOMS HOTEL, but when we arrived, it turned out to be the same place we’d stayed the year before, in 2016: sri enstek hotel near sepang circuit. That made me realize OYO ROOMS HOTEL is an agency, so be careful with them. The receptionist said we could check in around 12 p.m. because we were too early, so we spent six hours resting at another hotel. After the first day of the event, we came back to sri enstek and were told there was no room for us because the hotel was full. They said they’d informed OYO ROOMS about this back in April, but nobody had contacted or emailed me. The receptionist called OYO and let me speak to them. The conversation took three hours because they wanted to arrange a refund for the booking. We had nowhere to stay, with most hotels overbooked. They offered us hotel el ray, another hotel under OYO ROOM, and said they’d refund the full amount they had charged, but we had to pay EL RAY HOTEL in cash. We got there at midnight. It was far from the circuit, and the room was disgusting and disappointing. We slept there for a few hours and checked out early in the morning, but they still charged us for two days because we left early. The staff were helpful, but we couldn’t stay in that kind of hotel for the whole trip. We ended up at s8 hotel, which was nice and clean. PLEASE CHECK EVERY PHOTOS.
