Padungan Hotel

If you like Chinese food, the location is very good. I've stayed here at least five times, for between 5 and 14 days each time. Don't expect luxury, but the price-to-service ratio is good, and the rooms are clean and have what you need. I sometimes miss having a small refrigerator, though you can manage without one.

There's plenty of Chinese food nearby, and halal restaurants aren't too far away. The hotel is about 200 m from a self-service laundry, supermarket, money changer and ATM, and around 1.2 km from Kuching Waterfront and Indian Street. It's easy to get an online taxi or bus. My room was clean and non-smoking, with a hot-water shower, hair dryer and water heater.

The staff were helpful and friendly, and the facilities were good overall. I stayed three nights in a comfortable, quite nice room. There was some annoying noise from the room beside or above mine, like chairs or tables being moved. Apart from that, it was a pleasant stay.

The room and bathroom were neat and comfortable, the bed was good, and they provide cleaning service. The facilities are getting old, though that didn't affect my rest. It's a hotel I'd consider reviewing.
