The lodge has a cozy look and feel, but the rooms need maintenance. One bathroom door knob was broken, the TV reception was poor, and the room felt narrow and small. I asked the receptionist to get the bathroom knob fixed, but was told there wasn’t a repairer available at the time. Three of the five rooms I booked for the school trip had the same problem. What a coincidence?!

Pack light, because getting to your room means climbing the stairs with your luggage.

It’s a peaceful spot away from the city’s hustle and bustle. Thumbs up.
