Place2Stay Business Hotel @ Metrocity

You can hear people in other rooms talking and laughing, shutting doors, even plugging in chargers. The walls are that thin. There was water leaking from the aircon, and I saw pillows lying around. The bathroom also reeked of cigarette smoke.

It didn’t feel worth the original price. The place seemed abandoned, with damage everywhere, little holes in the ceiling, and the aircon dripping water while making noise all night.

This feels more like a motel than a hotel. The lobby has nothing in it and there isn’t a dedicated receptionist. The walls do a poor job blocking sound, so you can hear the next room talking. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, the iron wasn’t maintained, and there was no hair dryer at all. It was also very hard to get the towels changed. The metal support under the toilet sink was rusty and deteriorating, and the sink leaked. There was a hole in the ceiling too.

The lobby is basically an empty room with just a receptionist counter, so don’t be surprised when you arrive. The room had the basics and wasn’t as dirty as I’d expected. It was good enough for one night.
