Place2Stay Business Hotel - Waterfront

The staff were helpful, even before check-in, and the hotel itself seemed nice. The facilities were what I expected for the price. But cleanliness was a big disappointment: the sheet had lots of yellow stains, and the pillowcase had large yellow marks too. They really need to improve the cleaning.

I checked in at 2 PM and left by 4 because I felt so uncomfortable. The room was dirty, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, and the hygiene overall was unacceptable. The price may be affordable, but room quality shouldn’t be sacrificed. The staff were unfriendly and unwelcoming. Very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

I booked through an app and clearly noted that I was travelling with a toddler, but the receptionist still gave us a room that was unfit for guests. The pillows were the worst part, disgustingly dirty and unhygienic. The floor was dirty too, and the bathroom had mold and moss, with grime covering very slippery shower tiles. The walls were damp and the paint was peeling. Trusting the positive reviews was a big mistake, especially after I’d hoped to avoid the rooms described in the negative ones. I’m extremely disappointed. No guest, especially a family with young children, should be put in a room like this. I hope management makes sure future customers aren’t assigned rooms in this condition.

The service is very poor and the place is dirty. It gives Kuching's Accommodation a bad image. Sarawak is working toward becoming a developed state, but how can we move forward with service like this?
