The location is convenient for getting around, and the service was okay. The room and toilet were clean, but the room itself is small, so it won’t suit luggage of 25 inches or more. There are lots of pubs, clubs, and karaoke spots nearby, and they party late. Getting an early or proper rest here is impossible.

I stayed three nights and wasn’t happy at all. They only changed towels and took out the rubbish each day, with no room cleaning. Body wash and shampoo weren’t provided until I asked. The hotel said room cleaning is only offered for stays of four days or more. I checked with five nearby hotels of a similar standard to KL Hotel, and all said they clean rooms daily.

The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the TV had good channels. What bothered me was the hotel’s strict and unreasonable policy. A RM100 deposit felt far too high. The no-smoking rule itself was fine, but they’ll charge you if you accidentally stain a towel or bedsheet. Definitely not a good place for xxx 😜.

The rooms were modern and very clean, the staff friendly, and the prices good. I’d stay again. Just be aware there’s a nightclub in the same building. We were there on a Saturday and it got really loud, though it didn’t bother us much. If you’re a light sleeper, you’d probably be better off somewhere else.

It’s a good, cheap hotel, but the policies are bad. They ask for an RM100 deposit, which doesn’t make sense for a relatively inexpensive place. The no-smoking and no-vaping rule is also very strict, with a further RM200 cleaning bill if they catch you. Smokers should avoid this hotel.
