I keep coming back here because it's a good, comfortable, clean hotel at an affordable price, with room options for different budgets. The staff are especially friendly and helpful. The beds, pillows, blankets, sheets, towels, and bathroom have all been clean and in good condition. The air conditioning works well, and there's free WiFi and a TV with Netflix and other things. It's in a handy spot, not far from the ferry terminal and really close to the mosque. Restaurants, shops, a gym, a market, and the night market are all in the surrounding area. If you're expecting premium or fancy service, you'd be better off choosing a 3-5 star hotel or motel if you have more money, so you don't end up disappointed. This place suits travelers trying to save money who want somewhere simple, comfortable, and clean, with easy access to places on foot and less need to spend extra on a cab or Uber.

The lobby was nice, and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were kind. We got just one key card, but that didn't affect my stay at all. The shopping market, restaurants, gym, ferry terminal, and other places are within walking distance. Recommended.

There was only one key for the room, which made things difficult for me and the kids. I asked for an extra, but they didn't have one available. Usually good hotels provide two key cards, but this one didn't. I feel bad about it, and this will be my first and last stay.

The staff were great, and I had plenty of street parking nearby. You do need a ticket for those spaces, which you can buy at Mama's Kitchen about 50 metres up the road. The hotel is only a few yards from the ferry terminal, with food places and a few pubs close by. I’d just arrived in the area and picked it without checking Google, so I was glad it worked out. It was inexpensive, clean, and wonderfully quiet on the top floor.

The location made getting around easy, with shops and interesting places nearby and Maxim available for rides. HPV made me feel welcome and cozy, and the room was comfortable and felt like home, with a desk, chair, plenty of storage, and the amenities I needed. The double lock was reassuring, too. There were some rough spots: noise from other rooms, no window in mine, a shower leak that sprinkled on the ceiling, Wi-Fi that wouldn’t connect, and one tiny roach in the shower room. None of that spoiled a pleasant stay, and for a budget hotel it felt worth the money. I’d recommend it.
