The toilet in our room had a very strong, unpleasant smell, and the way the resort handled our security concern left us with no confidence in the place. I wouldn’t recommend it given the hygiene problems and lack of transparency or customer care. My brother found his car’s rear windshield broken in the morning. We had heard grass cutting around that time, so we asked staff to check the CCTV. The receptionist first said there wasn’t a camera in that area, though one was plainly visible above the parking spot. After we sent a photo of it, they said the camera was broken. When we asked to verify that and find out how the damage would be addressed, we got excuses, then no replies at all to our WhatsApp messages. There was no support, explanation, or accountability.

The service, location, and bathroom were fine, and the place wasn’t all bad. It was the bed that made me uncomfortable. I found dead ants on it, along with dust and little black spots. After lying down, I started itching on my arms, legs, and neck, and got small circular marks that looked like something had bitten me. I can’t tell whether it was the ants or the bed, and I didn’t want to check underneath it.

For such an affordable price, the stay was great, and the location right in the heart of Pantai Cenang is very convenient. My one small complaint is that there isn’t a water tap to rinse your feet before going to your room.

I was very happy with the hotel and the price. The pool was lovely, though as an older guest with a minor disability, I’d have felt safer getting in and out if it had a handrail. I also loved the air conditioning, and the included breakfast was good, especially the vegetarian option. The place was generally clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. The walls could use a clean or a fresh coat of paint. The shower barely had any pressure, just droplets from the head; management said it was because of the lack of rain. The location was great.
