Eleven Inn Langkawi

The quiet residential setting had a special kampung feel, and the hostel was excellent value. It’s named for the 11 siblings who built it. Zaki and his wife Lisa made my four days feel more like staying with family than in a hostel. They were so kind and supportive, and I count them as friends now. I hope I can return to beautiful Langkawi and stay here again. I caught up on laundry using the washing machine and covered clothes line. The kitchen was also impressive. An old neck and shoulder injury meant I had to pause my backpacking travels, so I was grateful to be able to cook meals and rest in this peaceful oasis.

There’s a shaded spot outside with a bench and table where you can relax. Zaki, the owner, was very helpful and friendly, and gave us a warm welcome. Our room was clean, and both the fan and AC worked well.

A simple, quiet place where I felt comfortable, whether spending time on holiday, working, or enjoying a nature trip. The owners, a hospitable couple, were ready to help with whatever we needed. It’s also easy to get to the port, mall, park, and other facilities. I’d definitely stay here again in Langkawi. 🍃👍🏽
