Four Seasons Resort Langkawi

There were quite a lot of mosquitoes around the resort, and our baby got dozens of bites that caused irritation. The staff responded when we asked and provided mosquito repellent. Even so, we had a wonderful stay at Four Seasons Resort Langkawi and would gladly recommend it for a luxurious family getaway. The team were warm, kind, professional, and so helpful throughout. They were ready to listen and assist with anything, and when we needed milk for our baby in the middle of the night, they brought it promptly without hesitation. Every staff member helped make us feel welcome and comfortable. We especially appreciated the Malaysian staff.

The staff made sure we had everything we needed, and the service started even before we arrived. Since we have young children, they built a custom fence around the villa pool for us. Our family of four stayed in a beach villa and had a wonderful, relaxing trip. It’s right on a beautiful beach with shaded areas, and the restaurants served delicious food and drinks. The place never felt crowded or too busy.

We spent five days here, and the hotel team really did their best to make us feel looked after. We had a wonderful stay and can confidently recommend it. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, responding quickly to requests and feedback. All the restaurants deserve a mention: there’s a diverse range of menus, and the food was consistently delicious wherever we ate. The spa was another highlight. The manager was attentive, and when I asked to switch therapists to try someone new, it was sorted right away. The treatment rooms each have a shower, changing area, massage space, bathtub, and balcony. Hearing the birds there made it especially relaxing, and the massages were excellent. Our room was just like the photos, clean, stylish, beautiful, and comfortable. Even monkeys came to visit, which was a special surprise. We also had a great time cycling around the property, and the three-hour visit to a natural park with a hotel naturalist flew by. It was fascinating and definitely worth doing. The beach is very large and the sea is clean, though the water wasn’t as turquoise as we expected. The beach isn’t perfectly clean despite regular machine cleaning, and sunbeds weren’t always available. The water was around 30°C, yet very few people were swimming, which surprised us. A couple of smaller things felt unusual: the welcome amenities were modest, just mandarins and water, and mango at breakfast had to be requested.

We went to Four Seasons Langkawi for my wife’s birthday, and the staff made the occasion feel extra special with a beautiful cake and lovely room decorations. The hospitality was unmatched, and the whole team helped make it a wonderful celebration. A special thanks to Ms. Dayang for making check-in smooth and welcoming, Mr. Khairi for the excellent tour and friendly buggy rides, and Ms. Jieha for taking such great care of my wife during her spa session.
