27 February 2026 The pool was a good size and temperature, and the hotel was very quiet. It was clean throughout, with no signs of anything unhygienic, and the staff were pleasant. Our bedroom was huge, with a great king bed, though the mattress felt old and springy. The shower had good pressure and got very hot. I’d come back. It’s dated, but that didn’t bother us, and the small issues seemed fair for the price. Breakfast was basic, essentially nasi lamak for 20RM. A sun lounger by the pool would be welcome, since it’s hard to stay there long with only tables and chairs.

We left after just one night. The sheets were stained, and there were cockroaches all over the room with no insect traps. I can only conclude that the owners don’t care about the insect problem. Maybe it’s because many Indian guests eat in their rooms and keep attracting insects. The whole stay felt disgusting, and I didn’t want to touch anything. Even after leaving, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I needed to shower.

For the price, the rooms aren’t substandard. The room is large, freshly painted, and has a fridge, a safe, a small balcony with nice views, and good air con. What’s substandard is the last reviewer’s tight arse comments, expecting a budget hotel to deliver a 5 star experience. Want an amazing hotel? Reach further into your pocket!

I still miss this hotel, it has an emotion to it. The staff were amazing and helpful, and the receptionists were friendly and ready to help. Breakfast was really tasty, and housekeeping came without us even asking. I’ll definitely book here again.

We booked online after reading positive reviews and stayed at De Greenish Village for four days. We really regret it. The service was poor, the staff seemed rude and unhelpful, and our room wasn’t cleaned at all. We got no toiletries, and asking for housekeeping didn’t help. There’s no lunch or dinner, only breakfast, and that was bad too. There were no vegetarian options, and the non-veg food was bland and unenjoyable. We picked the area because activities are close by, but staying here felt like a waste of money. I wouldn’t recommend it.
