Padimas Villa @Datai Valley

We came all the way from India and had a really pleasant stay. The property was clean, well maintained, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. It’s in a convenient, peaceful location and works well for either a short or longer stay. The hospitality and cleanliness stood out, and we felt at home during our visit. Highly recommended if you want a cozy, hassle-free stay in the area.

We stayed here for a getaway with friends. It’s tucked into nature, with a few farms nearby where there are ducks, goats, and sheep. The service was good.

I loved having the little back roads nearby for morning walks. They led to mountain views, fields with grazing animals, and rubber and coconut plantations. Norma, her family, and the staff made me feel safe and looked after, and the villas were clean, comfortable, and well equipped, with a lovely pool in a beautiful, well-kept village. I was traveling without my husband this time, at 66, and had some ‘splorin’ to do! If we ever choose to retire abroad, the Datai valley has the peace and security I’d want.

We liked the peaceful, green setting so much that our one-night booking turned into three. The bungalows were very clean, cozy, and had air conditioning, with a small pool where you could relax as the sun went down behind the mountains. There aren’t other resorts around, but Grab rides to busier areas were easy and inexpensive. Breakfast was included, tasty, and different each day. The housekeeper was incredibly kind: she offered us a ride when we were running late for a boat, then mailed back the things I’d left behind. It was the best hotel of our Asia trip, especially if you want a quiet stay with fewer tourists.
