Hujung Kampung

With only eight rooms, Hujung Kampung feels private, like a little escape in nature. The rooms are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, and breakfast offers a nice range of local dishes. It’s a peaceful retreat away from the crowds, a hidden gem in Langkawi for anyone looking to relax.

There’s no TV or radio, which gives you time away from media and encourages you to enjoy the moment and spend quality time with family. The calm surroundings really helped me unwind, and the place and rooms were clean and tidy. The owner was friendly, approachable, and helpful. You can make requests before arriving, though of course they can only fulfill them if they’re able to. Food depends on how many guests there are, since the owner doesn’t want to cook too much and waste it. For our group of eight, the portions were just right, and the food tasted very home cooked. We slept so well in the quiet, private surroundings, with nature all around. Hujung Kampung exceeded what I expected, and the team made our holiday really memorable. The food was delicious, and both the setting and the staff’s extra effort were outstanding. The pool was available 24 hours and always at a perfect temperature. The beach was nearby, so we rode bicycles or a scooter there. The team helped arrange a scooter and mountain bike for our island adventures, and even organized a karaoke night for my boyfriend’s birthday. It was so much fun. We’re very grateful to everyone at Hujung Kampung for such a wonderful experience.

I was here for Ironman Langkawi, and the management looked after me all weekend so my race went smoothly. The food was fresh and delicious. It’s a short drive from the main road, but the peaceful atmosphere and beautiful surroundings make it worthwhile. I’d highly recommend it for a quiet nature retreat with wonderful hospitality.
