I was initially uneasy about the temple below the motel because I’m Muslim, but it turned out not to be a concern, as there weren’t many people there. The large suite had plenty of space for 6, and the room and toilet were cleaner than I expected. Service was great, and the price was affordable. I’d come back 😊

There’s no sign outside, and the building is above a Chinese temple, but the value for the price is incredible. Our room was very clean, with well-insulated walls, which you don’t usually find in this price range in Malaysia. WiFi reception was good and the internet was fast. There’s a small food court around the corner and a mini market. The downside is that the reception area was usually unattended.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel is really close to the ferry jetty. There are also great places nearby to try seafood. Just keep in mind that breakfast isn’t provided.

The room is nice and comfortable, though it didn’t feel especially cozy. It’s handy for shopping because shops are nearby, but you’ll need to hire a car or bike, or use Uber or a taxi. There’s a Chinese temple below, and other attractions are nearby. The jetty is only a few minutes away, though too far to walk.

The room was comfortable, and being close to HIG was nice. Some Muslims may not feel comfortable staying because there’s a temple, but that didn’t bother me. I spent more of my budget on shopping and snorkelling, so staying here helped me save. It’s very cheap and a good option if you want to put your money toward other things. 👍👍👍
