La Pari-Pari

The place is surrounded by lush trees and has a nice pool. Rooms are fantastic, spacious, and come with all the amenities. The beds are comfortable, and the showers are huge. It’s flat and easy to get around. Highly recommended 👌

We stayed just one night. The room was nice and roomy, with a comfy bed, the usual coffee and tea facilities, and a safe. There’s also a little private courtyard outside each room where you can read or sunbathe, though those areas could use some work. The hot water ran out quickly in the shower. There’s a pool, but the outdoor area needs some TLC. The pool and surrounding concrete floor look dated, and paint is chipped on the wooden parts. It’s a nice place that could be much better with a bit of work. It’s close to bars and restaurants, and there’s a restaurant on site too.

The room was good, and getting around from this location was easy. But they charged us MR 75 for a kettle we hadn't damaged. They'd taken a deposit and said it would be returned at checkout. After checking out, we left our bags at reception and spent two hours at nearby markets. When we came back, the receptionist said MR 100 would be taken from the deposit because the kettle was damaged and some pieces had fallen off. We asked to see it, and she brought it out, saying staff had glued it back together. There was only a tiny crack visible. I don't believe that story. If it had really broken, they should have shown us the pieces. How could it be fixed so quickly, and with what kind of glue, when the damage was barely visible? It felt like a small scam to make a few extra bucks. Be careful staying here, they may try to dupe you.

We spent five very pleasant nights in room #7, which matched the listing exactly. The modern cabana was private and tucked away, with its own little courtyard. I also liked the contemporary design and the attention to recycling and respecting the planet. A great stay.
