Malibest Resort

The highlight is the setting right on Pantai Cenang, with a beautiful beachfront view and easy access to the main area. We enjoyed relaxing there, taking night walks on the beach, and watching the fire shows. Breakfast had a decent variety and was good, though the service was disappointing and could be better. The Wi-Fi didn’t connect all the time. It’s a good budget option if you want to be right by the beach in a prime location and can accept average service.

Right on Chenag Beach, the hotel has a stunning sunset view and is great value for money. We stayed three days and had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean, the service was excellent, and breakfast was included with very good food. Highly recommended! ✅

The staff were unhelpful and behaved very poorly during my three-day stay at Malibest Hotel. On the first day, the AC didn’t work, and hot water was available only once. I booked based on Goibibo recommendations, but was very disappointed. They gave us only two half-liter bottles of drinking water and two tea sachets per day, which felt basic and inadequate. Breakfast wasn’t good, and there were no Indian food options. We also had to pay an extra 100 MYR as a caution deposit, which hadn’t been clearly mentioned in advance. Nothing about the hotel felt new or well maintained. I don’t recommend Malibest Hotel, and would suggest choosing somewhere else for a better stay.

It’s right on the beach and has spacious areas to hang out, including a pool that faces the water. The location makes it one of the best hotels in Langkawi. Rooms and bathrooms are big, and every room has a small attached balcony. The floors and walls in the rooms and bathrooms could be cleaner and tidier.
