For three days and two nights, I had a lovely stay here. The room was cosy, with air conditioning and a hot shower. There was also a kettle, which made it easy to prepare coffee, Milo or cup noodles. I liked that it was so affordable while still having the things you need in a hotel.

Milvus's receptionist gave good service, and they provide Wi-Fi for guests. I got a ground floor room for my parents when I asked, and it was good enough for us. They do have ground floor rooms for elderly or disabled guests. The hotel is beside the road, so vehicles can be heard, and it's not a good fit if you need quiet and peaceful sleep. There's no elevator, so you have to take the stairs.

The staff were super nice and helped us with everything. I was surprised breakfast was included, since not every budget hotel provides it. We had Nasi Goreng and Bihun Goreng the first morning, then nasi goreng and nasi lemak the second. It was definitely good value for money, and the hotel is very close to Kuah. Milvus is one of the best budget hotels I've stayed in. The rooms are simple, clean and nice. Each room has power sockets with two USB charging ports, a clever touch if you leave your charger at home.

For the price, it's good value and well located. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and a car or motorbike rental place close by too. The jetty is a 5-7 minute drive away, the airport is about 20 minutes, and two malls are just 5-7 minutes from the hotel.

The room and bed we were given were dusty. We only noticed at night, when there was no reception on the ground floor. Everything else was fine for the price. If you're bringing luggage, ask for a lower floor room since there's no lift.
