The food was amazingly good, honestly perfect, and everyone there was welcoming. We recommend the restaurant without hesitation. Wonderful, we'll definitely come back!

The location was the reason I chose this hotel, since you can walk to plenty of food and entertainment. But for the price, the quality was below par, so I probably won't return and would rather try another place. In our standard king room, the Wi-Fi was painfully weak. My phone kept disconnecting even though there were seven networks, numbered 3 to 9, and none worked well anywhere in the room. The sofa and table were dusty. There was no soap, toothbrush, bedroom slippers, or floor rug, so the floor got wet. Our non-smoking room even had an ashtray. The toilet bowl was cracked and leaking, the tap sprayed water sideways when turned on, and a small hole above the shower dripped every two seconds. Music from a beer garden carried on late into the night.

The food was reasonable, but the service felt odd. A weird little place in Kuah, and not my favourite.

We stayed three days and two nights, with breakfast buffet included for two days. The first breakfast was fine in terms of food and service, though the four-slice toaster sometimes burned one slice while the other three were okay. We put the toast on a plate and turned away to get something. When we came back, the plate had been moved elsewhere, so we assumed something had happened to it and made another batch. After breakfast we went sightseeing. On returning, we were told staff, especially the receptionist, had complained that we'd eaten messily and wasted food. When we asked about it the next day, the receptionist was rude and accused us of wasting the toast she'd moved, which we hadn't finished. We expected a civil conversation, but she was uncooperative and unapologetic. The experience affected our vacation.

In our opinion, this place costs too much for what it offers. The room was very basic, far from the beaches and better restaurants, and the Wi-Fi was slow and unreliable. Reception staff weren't very friendly or helpful either. A taxi to Cinang beach costs 30 myr and takes about half an hour. That's where you need to go for food, drinks and the beach.
