This is a village-like place for people who enjoy doing things for themselves. You take the room key, stay on your own, then drop it at the office front door when you leave. Rooms are furnished in the usual way and are good, with different views available. The villas face the ocean, and mornings are soothing; at night it’s absolutely calm and quiet. At first, it can feel like nomadic living. There’s no food or breakfast, and nobody is around to help guests when they need something. A car is essential for getting to food and travelling. You can use Grab or Foodpanda, or make a short walk or drive to a very good Syrian-run restaurant serving Arabic and Thai food.
