Amira and her family run this family business, and she was the most welcoming, hospitable host I've ever met. The rooms are great, with your own air conditioning, double bed, and bathroom. It's super clean, and Amira is there if you need ANYTHING. Just remember it's not a 5-star hotel, so keep your expectations normal. Thanks so much for having me. I hope we meet again, and if I come back to Langkawi, I know where I'll stay.

I can't speak for the rooms, but the food at the restaurant across the way, Yasmin Thai Restaurant (?), was the best we had in Malaysia, period. We liked it more than anywhere else we've eaten, including PF Changs and Din Tai Fung. Get the Thai fried rice, stir-fried vegetables, and daging with sauce mera. Everything was made fresh and tasted impeccable. This place is a hidden gem. Thank me later. Bring cash, since they don't take cards, and the nearest ATM is at the airport.

The room was okay, but the shower had no hot water and the walls are paper thin. You'll hear everything, from whispers next door to children down the hall. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless it's just one night, if even that.

We booked online and had already paid, but when we arrived they demanded double the normal price in cash or refused to let us stay. A dishonest and terrible way to do business. Scam. Avoid at all costs!
