Saujana Private Villas

We stayed at Saujana Private Villas from Sunday to Monday, and the privacy was a highlight. We were the only family there over the weekend, which made it feel wonderfully secluded. The villas sit in the forest with a lovely beach view, a real break from the usual bustle. We enjoyed the private pool at our own pace, and trying kayaking for the first time was great fun. Coffee and tea were available free-flow, and the excellent food suited the peaceful atmosphere. Mr. Raid gave us a warm welcome when we arrived. It's a lovely place to unwind in nature, and we couldn't have asked for a more tranquil, private stay.

The lounge has a pool table, TV, and games, and we had fun swimming in the pool and kayaking and swimming at the private beach. Mr Raid was warm and welcoming. It's quiet both day and night, with a secluded feel, almost like being in the jungle, so it seems ideal for couples, families, or a honeymoon. If you stay here, make a point of checking out the beautiful Temerun waterfall. You pass it on the way to the resort.

As a wheelchair traveller, I felt at home here. The team were always there to help me get around the villa, and Villa 1 is the best option for guests who need more accessibility support. A portable ramp would make movement easier, though. The team welcomed us with smiles and were attentive throughout. The villa was clean and well kept, and the bed and pillow were so comfortable that I slept peacefully. The pool was great, had no chlorine smell, and was maintained every day. In the lounge there are movies, a pool table, board games, and lots of books like a mini library. You can also use the canoe, catamaran, and other things during your stay. The food was excellent, whether from the menu or customized. Just tell them what you'd like and they're happy to help. The atmosphere and scenery were lovely, and this was the most peaceful villa I've stayed in. I'd suggest a minimum of 3D2N. Thanks to Mr Raid, Chef Abe, Ms Mimi, and Mr Firdaus for giving my wife and me such a wonderful visit. We'll come back, perhaps with my bigger family.

Years ago, I came across this place at the very end of the road, behind an imposing guided gate. I only learned today that it belongs to a company wholly owned by the Qatar government. How that came about is as intriguing as the public road that continues past the Datai Resort, which is owned by Kazanah, Malaysia's sovereign fund. That also explains why LADA thought it appropriate to give Datai Resort exclusive rights to the beach. Sailors and seafarers, take note.
