The reception was helpful with advice and ready to lend a hand with anything I asked. The dogs were peaceful and really friendly, so no need to worry about them. I enjoyed the stay a lot. The room and shower were both clean and worked well, and the shared kitchen and lounge were nice. There's a small pool too. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

The room was a little dark, but it was clean and comfortable, and having a kitchen was a real plus. The place is well run, with inexpensive drink options. My only gripe is how many policies there are. At check-in, there's a mountain of information to take in when you're keen to get to your room. It might work better to have a booklet there as well as at reception. The beachside location is great, and I'd stay again.

I liked the secure gate setup, the little shaded pool, and the vending machines that were both cheap and well stocked. Staff answered all our questions before and during the stay. Rooms can be cleaned daily if you want, laundry costs 5RM, and the wifi was quick, though I had to keep logging in. There are pricey restaurants nearby, but we found Woods down the road to be a good, cheaper option. My one real complaint was the blankets, since you have to pay extra for one. I know it's a hostel, but at over 100RM a night for a private room, I'd expect one to be included. Otherwise, I'd recommend it. Good vibes.

We were just far enough from Langkawi's main drag to avoid the busiest stretch, but still within walking distance of plenty of places to eat and drink. We stayed a week and often had a fun group in the common area to hang out and share a few drinks. Good value for money, with clean rooms and staff who were incredibly helpful. There are a few dogs around, looked after by the owner rather than strays. They're lovely if you like dogs, though a bit nervous. If dogs aren't your thing, you may prefer somewhere else.
