It felt like a five-star hotel stay to me. The unit was lovely, clean, and well looked after, and the décor gave it a luxurious feel. I really enjoyed it.

Most of the units are rentals, so what you get can vary since each owner manages their own place. In unit 21-16, the Wi-Fi was really bad. The other things were basic, like a TV, fridge, hot shower, utensils, and cooking equipment.

It’s a fairly new building. I stayed for seven nights, with the centre of Melaka about a 15-minute drive away. The nearest supermarket takes under five minutes by car, and it’s a very western-style grocery store where you can get everything.

Everything else was fine, but the guard was rude. He shouted at us when he saw our swimsuits were still wet, and told us to dry them outside first or they’d take action. Management needs to train staff to speak politely.

The sea view was very nice, and it was a very quiet place. The room was clean, and the toilets were clean too. There aren’t shops nearby, so prepare what you need in advance. There are steps inside the rooms, which aren’t suitable for someone with a disability, and this should be declared earlier.
