D' Cozy Inn

Beautiful, nice, and clean. I'll come back.

I loved the interiors here, the owner has such great taste. It's a beautiful, tidy, well-maintained homestay, especially suited to someone who likes traveling and Ikea furniture. There's also a play area with board games. One of the best places I've stayed in Malaysia so far. Highly recommended!

The place was very clean, the room was roomy, and the hostess was friendly. Free parking, good water pressure in the shower, lots of outlets, and a clear HD TV were all nice to have. A couple of things could be better: the pillows felt too soft and low, and the toilet seat is so close to the shower glass that sitting is a bit awkward. There also isn't a secondary or sliding lock on the door. Our toddler could easily open it while we were asleep, so we had to wedge things against it.

I'm updating my review: we got a full refund for the stay, and the owner apologized. I hope the staff will respond more quickly when something goes wrong. For a budget hotel, the facilities generally worked well, including the air conditioning, water heater, hair dryer, and TV. But there was a power outage during our stay, and we think a power point may have been faulty. We tried contacting the owner or person in charge and got no response, so we had to handle it ourselves. It went on for several hours and was stressful for us and our baby. The owner or person in charge should take responsibility and answer the phone when a crisis happens at the inn.
