D'Story Brickhouse @ OKW

We were five families, and the house could fit up to 25 people, kids and adults included. It worked well for our big family gathering. The pool is large, but adults need to watch the kids and keep them safe. There’s a BBQ pit and a kitchen island for food prep, though some cooking utensils aren’t supplied, so guests need to bring their own. Some walls and corners make nice spots for photoshoots. It was fine for us overall.

The place looks like an ordinary house from outside, then opens up into a really beautiful, spacious interior. There’s a pool in the middle, with separate areas for the kitchen, lounge, gaming cafe zone, and bedrooms. Two bedrooms look straight out onto the pool. The rooms are simply designed, but the whole place feels like an exotic trip. 10/10 recommended for big family trips!

We were 16 and all fit comfortably in this well-furnished place. The pool is a bit small, though none of us planned to swim anyway. The industrial rustic decor should appeal to most of us, and the hosts were quick to respond to our questions and needs. It’s a strategic spot, 2-3km from jonker walk and a few good places to eat. Each grab trip cost us rm6. A very good deal for a family holiday or a gathering with friends. Highly recommended.

The pool and brick-wall layout were lovely, and the place felt cosy with well-maintained facilities. They provide towels, a water filter, fridge, and kitchen utensils. The netting on the second floor feels a bit unsafe, especially with kids left unsupervised. The hard concrete stairs can also get slippery and quite dangerous.
