Check-in was easy, the floor was clean, and there’s a huge living room. It’s an old place, though, and the upkeep overall is lacking. It can fit 40 or more people, so I’d say it suits people who aren’t fussy.

8/10
It’s a large, three storey terrace house with six rooms, decorated with boat-related pieces and paintings. The place is nicely arranged and could work well for a big group. It’s a few minutes from town, close enough to count as near.

2/10
The rooms are spacious, but the owner/operator was extremely rude. There are CCTV cameras in the house, and the agreement says nothing about them, so you’re basically forced to accept the privacy intrusion. The beds have lice, and the covers had blood and other stains I couldn’t identify. Water pressure was very weak, water from the dispenser tasted rusty, there wasn’t a single hanger, and the living area had no sofa.

Such a peaceful, comfortable night. The place felt like our own home, and I’d love to come back.
