For a low price, you get a decent, comfortable and clean hotel room. The owner was friendly and quick to respond, and even sent video guides for finding the room, parking the vehicle and other things. It's very close to dataran pahlawan in the city centre, so we could walk everywhere. I was travelling solo by motorbike and didn't worry about it being stolen since the place is guarded 24 hours and has CCTV. Really suitable for solo travellers.

There are plenty of outlets for charging phones and other gadgets, and the hotel feels new and clean. It’s also handy for food, with a food court close by during the day. In the evening, there’s a satay celup restaurant nearby, or you can walk to jonker walk.

The room at Famosa 2 Stay looked just like the photos and matched the listing. The woman in charge was really kind and helpful. I needed a fridge for my medication, and there wasn’t one, so she understood and cancelled my booking without a fee. She even pointed me to another place I could stay. I appreciated how professionally she handled it.

For one night, RM 242++ got us three rooms with three queen beds. They were clean and air-conditioned, and the beds were fine for sleeping. WiFi was free. The area around the place is seriously good for eating and shopping, though there’s no breakfast. Towels weren’t included, so we had to rent them for RM 5. Shower gel was the only toiletry provided.
