Hotel Bamboo By OYO Rooms

There isn't hotel guest parking, so you have to share spaces with three busy restaurants nearby. The place was a bit hard to find, though luckily the signboard has bright colours. Be careful following directions from hotel booking sites, because ours were wrong. We had to look up the address manually on Google.

We got the boss’s room for our two-night stay after arriving to find the hotel full, even though we’d booked and paid through Agoda. The receptionist said a worker coming on shift had given all the rooms to other people, which was hard to understand. The room was clean, the toilet was decent, and we were given two mandarin oranges. I can’t speak for the other rooms. The hotel is opposite a Chinese food restaurant, and the surroundings were okay. I’d planned to give five stars for this budget hotel, but that check-in mess brought it down to three.

The room was comfortable and had the basics, and I liked the place overall. The air conditioning wasn’t very cold around midnight, though I wasn’t using a blanket anyway. I’d come back next time. 😉😉

For a budget hotel like this, and a price of RM 75, I don’t think there’s much to complain about. It deserves five stars. Thanks.
