Hatten Hotel Melaka

We got adjoining rooms for our group without even asking, thanks to the proactive staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the standard room was much bigger than I expected, with a nice living area. There was also good food within walking distance. Great value for the price, highly recommend.

The room was comfortable, clean, and quite spacious, especially the well-kept bathroom. I did notice a mild musky smell when I first walked in, likely from the carpet, so I used my own air freshener. Otherwise it was a good place to rest. The location was excellent, right beside two major shopping malls and about a 15-minute walk from Jonker Walk and the river. Most main attractions were easy to reach without transport. The large, high-ceilinged lobby felt welcoming, though there wasn't much seating. All the chairs were taken when we arrived, so waiting was a little inconvenient. Staff were consistently warm and polite, greeting us each time we passed and always opening the door.

I went solo in December 2025 and had a great stay. The room was spacious and clean, with no insects, and the toilet was clean too. Breakfast was okay and delicious. The location is very strategic, near dataran pahlawan and mahkota parade, and a 10-minute walk to jonker walk area. Parking costs rm5 per day. Give your card to registration, or you'll be charged the full parking fee. A really nice hotel, 5/5.

We came back to Hatten after our last trip because it has the cheapest and largest room in melaka. There's a small living room as you enter, then the bedroom is behind the partition. The room was clean, the mattress and blanket comfortable, though the pillow was too soft for my taste. The baby cot came with a blanket, boster, and pillow. The shower was enjoyable, with strong water pressure and a steady temperature. Sheltered parking is available for rm5 for the whole day. Before leaving the carpark, you have to give the tng card to the concierge to redeem it. Breakfast was mostly local food: nasi lemak, roti canai with dal / vegetable curry, porridge, nasi goreng kampung, plus egg and noodle stations.
