It’s around a 5 to 10 minute walk to Jonker Walk, with a kopitiam, convenience store, and clinic just opposite. The staff were kind and friendly. Cleanliness was okay: I noticed a few hairs on the floor, but the bed was clean and neatly made, and the toilet was clean and smelled fresh. Towels, shower gel, and shampoo were provided.

The host was quick to answer messages and made the stay easy. The house was clean, comfortable, and well looked after for our trip. A great place, highly recommend it.

Jonker is a bit of a walk away. The room was small but clean, and there’s a shared kitchenette plus a nostalgic gaming machine for two people.

It was a good stay and I’d come again. Jonker street is about a 5-10 minute walk, and the room was clean with very good heater pressure. There’s a game machine for kids, an open car park opposite the Guest house, plus KK mart and restaurants nearby, all very convenient. Wifi was a bit slow, so I hope the owner can improve it.

The location is very good and Modern House was quiet. But upkeep was poor during our three-day stay: the shared-area trash wasn’t changed, there was hair all over our room, and we had to ask for toilet paper. We didn’t really interact with staff, who leave snacks and drinks outside. I’d recommend this place for its location, and that’s all.
