The owner and staff were really friendly, and the second-floor lobby was a comfortable place to take a break. We stayed in the only room with a river view, which had recently been renovated. It was simply furnished but comfortable enough. The Guest House is very well located, with historical sites, lively streets, and temples just a 5-minute walk away. Internet speed was the one small downside, though it was fine for checking an itinerary. Service is available in English and Chinese. I'd recommend this Guest House to friends and young travellers in Melaka.

It's about a 3-minute walk to Jonker Street for the night market and shops, which is convenient. The guest house has thin walls and wooden floors, though, so talking and footsteps can sound loud at night when it's quiet.
