The place may photograph well, but we had a pretty unsettling two-night stay. The windows all seemed to have someone staring back, and there were no other Airbnb guests around. We felt uneasy arriving, and now we have our own urban tale to add to the pile. There were three bedrooms, and we avoided the one with twin single beds. It was cold when we went in, and the aircon was running. I switched it off and shut the door since we weren’t using that room. At checkout, I checked again and found the aircon back on. The window glass was covered in condensation, so it had clearly been running for a while. On our first night, the fire alarm went off twice at 4 am. The TV didn’t work, the clock battery was dead, and the sheets and furnishings felt cheap. Even the pool and other facilities had a stale feel to them. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. You’ve been warned.

This place is very dated. You really need a car to stay here, since getting anywhere means crossing a busy four-lane road. There’s no crosswalk or pedestrian bridge, so people just dash across and hope for the best. What a dump.

We took Grab into the city center because walking there wasn’t easy, even though the complex is nearby. The grounds were very clean, the pool was nice, and the guards at the gate were friendly.

Really wonderful place. The rooms feel cozy, and the whole hotel does too.

Room No. :4032. The location is good and the room is spacious, but the place was filthy. Dust and grime had built up anywhere a mop couldn’t reach, and even the shelves had noticeable dust. The bathroom was awful by any basic standard, with floor caulking and corners that were completely black. Nearly everything seemed broken or close to it. I didn’t dare check inside the cupboards or closet. The beds were okay, though too dusty for me. The roof looked close to collapsing. The couches were visibly worn, with the leatherette peeling in several places, and their headrests were gone. The coffee table seemed ready to split in half, and the stools should have been thrown out ages ago. The only saving points were the low price and the roomy space. It’s cheap and well located, but terrible if you expect a decent standard of living. There were also hidden charges: RM100 for disinfection, RM50 for cleaning, and around RM40 in taxes. The room still wasn’t clean, with dust everywhere. 0/10, wouldn’t recommend.
