The staff were polite, friendly, and ready to help, and free parking was a nice perk in this busy area. The location is convenient for popular attractions, restaurants, and shopping, so it works well for tourists. The building looks old and hasn’t had a recent renovation. The lobby felt dull and outdated because it lacked lighting, and one of the very old elevators was being maintained, so the wait was longer. My room was clean and comfortable, but its older furniture and design could use a refresh. They also didn’t provide a toothbrush, a basic amenity many hotels include. Good location and service, but the place needs modernization to bring the experience up to current standards.

The room was spacious, but the housekeeping was disappointing. The floor was dusty, there were stains on the bed, and rubbish and dirt were in the drainage holes. The corridor was also in poor shape, with heavily stained carpet that had turned grey. We waited 15 minutes to check in because no one was at the counter. Two other guests said they’d been waiting almost an hour. Nobody apologized or thanked us for waiting. We booked through Agoda after seeing good photos and reviews, which made the condition even more disappointing. It’s unacceptable. We’re only here because the hotel is fully paid, and with a late check-in and early check-out, we won’t be staying long.

We arrived around 9 pm and were told there was no room for us because of a leak. Staff said management had already been informed, but nothing had been done. The room had still been sold on Agoda as usual, and I’m still waiting for my refund. I don’t recommend staying here. The hotel isn’t worth a star. The only positive was the staff member who tried her best to explain things to the customer.

The room was big and had a king size bed. The water pressure in the shower was high, which helped after a tiring day, but the water smelled of chlorine. At around 11pm, a ceiling bulb started blinking like a disco light while I was trying to work on my laptop. I called the lobby for almost 10 minutes, but nobody answered. Then around 2.30am the aircond switched off. After 30 minutes in the heat with no ventilation, I turned all the switches off and the aircond started working again. I stayed because I was misled by the pictures and river view, which are ILLUSTRATIONS only. This was my first and VERY LAST stay. The car park was dark and eerie, and there’s no lift connecting it to the lobby. On my floor, the carpet stain looked like oxidized blood, and I wanted to leave again, but it was late and I was tired. Period.
