D Elegance Grand Bandar Seri Alam

The location is good, but the AC system was terrible. I arrived on 2 March. The first room on level 4 had broken AC. They moved me to another room on the same level where it worked, but around 6-7am a cigarette smell started coming into the non-smoking room. The ventilation needs to be improved.

The breakfast is a real highlight, and there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The in-room dining is affordable too. This was my second stay in as many months, and I’m planning a third in the next few months. One snag this time was room 702’s AC: even at 16°C with the fan on high for three hours, it didn’t cool the room enough. I didn’t have that problem in room 704 last month.

The location is fantastic, with lots of F & B spots an easy walk away. I stayed three nights in a clean, pleasant hotel, and the room was comfortable with an iron box, which was handy. The first room’s air conditioner was noisy, but reception changed my room after I complained. Breakfast was satisfactory, though more variety would be good. A good stay overall.

The room and reception area were clean and well maintained. At breakfast, though, the juice glass smelled when I started drinking, so I left straight away. It was complimentary, and there weren’t any staff around to tell. Please make sure the cafeteria juice glasses are clean.
