The Wi-Fi slows down when it's busy, though with fewer people around you can stream YouTube at 480p. The place is clean and relaxed, and the bed has both an outlet and a lamp. Hot water comes through quickly in the shower. There's also a restaurant downstairs with good Mee Mamak, plus a more expensive option if you're in the mood for a burger or steak.

The location is decent, though getting around Miri on foot isn't easy. The hostel has AC and a water dispenser, but it wasn't the best place I've stayed. After check-in the staff seemed to disappear. I wanted to ask them something, but couldn't find anyone for days.

It was a cozy, affordable place, and worked well for us with a rented car. The next morning we walked to native market Tamu Khas in about 10 minutes, then to Tua Pek Kong Temple and Miri Old City Centre.

The facilities were good for my one night in the coco house dorm. Getting onto the upper bunk was awkward because it's a bit too high.

The entertainment area is good and the place feels cozy, but it can get too humid. It's also quite far from the city centre, and the cafe shuts before 9.
