Pacific Orient Hotel

The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine for such a cheap rate, and you could eat as much as you wanted, but there wasn’t much to choose from: toast, jam, boiled egg, chicken, a fried noodle dish, coffee, tea, and juice. The hotel is really old, and you can smell it in the room. There was no fridge, iron, or blow dryer, and the shower heater in room 305 didn’t work.

Breakfast was more than good enough for me, and I left satisfied with the stay. It’s a budget-friendly hotel with an old-fashioned design. The room wasn’t very clean and had a slight smell.

The food was good, although the buffet selection was limited. The hotel is close to Bintang Megamall and plenty of restaurants. Road noise carries into the night, but it wasn’t too loud. The rooms need a more thorough clean, and the bathrooms could use renovation.

The location is a real plus, with malls, restaurants, and a food street all within walking distance. Breakfast is included, and although there aren’t many choices, the fried kuey tiao, steam egg, fish ball, roti bakar with butter and kaya, coffee, tea, and cold drinks tasted good. The hotel may have a lot of history, and the bathroom in our room was a bit old and dirty. It’s a budget stay, so don’t expect too much. I hope they improve the toilet condition.
