Nilai H-2 Hotel

I booked a twin bed but was given a single instead. Bad service. They put me in another location for the twin bed room.

The rooms looked nothing like the photos, and there were cockroaches and grime everywhere. I left straight away, after only an hour and a half. Most disgusting hotel I've ever been in. Never use this hotel's services.

I paid RM80 online after booking a month ahead, but checking in felt like a pen-and-book operation. There's no computer, just a book for recording guests. The receptionist looked at my booking on my phone and took a photo of it, without using a computer. Once I got to the room, he came back and told me the booking had been cancelled. I was shocked. He then said I had to pay another RM60 just to stay there. I was furious, especially as it was 1 a.m. and they only took cash, with no bank or ATM nearby. By then it was already 2 a.m. I used Grab to get to the nearest ATM and paid. When I asked about getting my RM80 back, he said Agoda would refund it the next day. The next morning a different receptionist was on duty, and thankfully he knew how to handle my situation. My takeaways: this hotel needs to use computers and proper IT for bookings; staff need communication training. I'm not racist, but the receptionist who started the problem was Bangla and didn't speak basic Malay or English. He seemed to understand about 10 percent and struggled to explain himself the other 90 percent. Also, what's the point of being on booking platforms if there's no computer to check guests in and take Agoda payments? They should remove the hotel from online platforms. P. S. Don't book online. They may say your booking is cancelled, and in my case they did it on the spot after I was already in the room.

For RM70 you get a queen room without a window. It's cheap and fine if all you need is a good night's sleep after a long day of outstation work.
