The room was smoky, the floor had lots of stains, and the pillows were stained and smelled bad. They were also very small and uncomfortable, and the mattress was hard enough to leave my body a little sore. The hotel has an old design and old furniture, though the air conditioning was new. The 50-inch TV only had 5 basic channels. There were just 2 small 250 ml bottles of drinking water, with no coffee or tea. I stayed in a Queen standard room with a window for RM99.40. My ratings: room 2.5/5, cleanliness 3/5, value for money 3.5/5, and location 4/5. I wouldn’t recommend it for a family holiday.

The staff were very friendly, and the price was affordable. It’s an old-style hotel, but the room was okay for a business stay, though not very clean. The lift was a bit slow. Parking is open-air and easy, with econsave and lots of restaurants around.

The receptionist was kind, and we found plenty of shops nearby. I expected the area to be quieter, but it wasn’t, and I was satisfied with my two-night stay overall. The room was small, though the bathroom had quite a bit of space and the water pressure was okay. There’s a lift, but the hotel looks old and it takes a while to reach the upper floors. The corridor smelled strongly of cigarettes, the surau on level 1 was messy, and there were cockroaches in the room.

It’s an older budget hotel on the edge of the city, but the price makes it worthwhile for a value stay. The area is peaceful, with plenty of shops and places to eat within walking distance. Parking is free with lots of spaces. The building and facilities look worn, and the elevator climbs very slowly, but the basic necessities are there and still work, including the old-style hot-cold shower pipe.

The room was spacious and comfortable, and I had a good two-night stay with breakfast included. Food is easy to find nearby, and Econsave is behind the hotel. Still, there are things management should check. The wardrobe’s sliding door nearly hit my head when I opened it, and the towel I got was torn, with two holes. Housekeeping probably knows which room items need attention. It’s a nice hotel to stay in overall.
