Arwana Inn

The location beside the road made it very noisy, and I didn't feel safe traveling alone. The place seemed to have had no maintenance. Inside, it felt like I was the only guest on the whole floor. The building looks run down, the room is shabby, and the door still uses a key lock. There are only stairs and no elevator, so it's not suitable for older people or people with disabilities. The reviews here don't reflect what I found. For your time and safety, stay somewhere else.

The river view was lovely in the morning, with the big boats and ships passing by. We found the room spacious and comfortable, and the amenities, though a bit old, were clean and working. For a cheap hotel, it was better than we expected. The staff were super friendly and warm, even when we called after 10 pm to ask if a room was available for the night. There's no elevator, but that wasn't a problem for us.

The family room was spacious and clean, and there are tourist spots nearby. The beach is about five minutes away by car, and food is easy to find day or night. The water pressure was poor, and the TV was old school. The building looked abandoned, with leaves around it and an unmaintained yard. It was very quiet and felt scary. There were lots of empty rooms inside, shoes on the rack, and children's bikes around, though it seemed like only my family was staying there. I paid for two nights and regretted it. I won't come back, and I wouldn't recommend staying alone.

The staff were super friendly, and the shipyard view was amazing. We stayed in a deluxe room that was really spacious, with a nice balcony to relax on. The common area also had a great couch where you could unwind or have some personal time. The beach is about a three-minute drive away, and there are lots of ikan bakar restaurants around five minutes away. There were quite a few insects, probably because the place is near the river. Water pressure was low too, though it wasn't a big deal.
