The car park had abandoned vehicles all over it, and the room was filthy. The floors were dirty, the bedsheets stained, and the walls were peeling from water leaks. Truly unhygienic and disappointing. Worst stay ever, please avoid it at all costs.

I live at Empire Studio now, and the frequent elevator outages are a real inconvenience. It doesn’t seem like there’s any proper effort to maintain them. The parking lot is also uncomfortable and feels unsafe. It’s dimly lit, with abandoned vehicles scattered around. I wouldn’t recommend living here long term. There are better places that take maintenance and safety seriously.

There are plenty of parking spaces in the basements, but cars are still left illegally along Jalan PJU8/8, taking up a whole lane and causing traffic jams every day. Where’s the enforcement?

I booked two nights but checked out the next day. The unit I stayed in wasn’t well maintained, and there wasn’t even any toilet paper. The room pictures on Trivago didn’t match what I got, and there was only one locking mechanism, which didn’t feel secure. It put a real damper on my weekend.

For lunch, there are still some good restaurants and cafes with reasonably priced food. Access between the entertainment area, office blocks, and SoHO blocks is limited. Parking uses Touch n Go, a Visa card, or a season parking access card, so make sure your TNG card has enough credit if you’re coming to eat. You can top it up at the convenience stores here. There are two mynews stores and one 7-11.
