OYO 89968 Sri Sutra Hotel

We booked four nights, but when we arrived nobody was there to check us in. We came back the next day hoping to get in, and there was still nobody. The hotel didn’t answer our many calls. Even though it was their fault, they didn’t want to refund me. I finally got my money back after trying hard since 15/12/23. If you book here and can’t check in, take a picture showing you arrived and email it to your booking channel. Keep following up, as I did, and gather as much proof as you can. Don’t let this scammer take your money easily.

I booked two nights, but after one night I left because of unexplained disturbances late at night. It was my first time staying alone in a hotel room, and I thought it would be okay. Think twice before booking here. It may be better to bring a friend and avoid staying alone. If you do stay, knock before you enter the room and be respectful of the place.

At 9.30pm I arrived to find the hotel locked. I called the Chinese guy, who said it would take him an hour to get there, but he didn’t show up until 11.15pm. The room had spider webs and the toilet bowl wasn’t clean. Then the power went out at 2.45am. The Chinese guy didn’t answer my call, and around 3.30am one of the guys staying at the hotel fixed the main power. The Chinese guy arrived after that. Terrible management and poor hygiene.

The room interior was nice and clean, though the outside of the hotel building was something else. In my opinion, the location isn’t strategic. Still, if you’re not too choosy, this hotel is quite okay for a traveler.
