Flexistay Studio Resort Suites at Sunway Pyramid Hotel Tower

We found out on arrival that the property isn’t owned by Sunway pyramid, despite the booking name being Millennium Suites at Pyramid Tower. Most people didn’t seem to know the hotel’s name. Our room wasn’t satisfactory: there was a bad smell from the bathroom and kitchen, and the room served people smell bad. The WiFi often didn’t work. There was only one door and lift access card for four of us. The kitchen utensils were a nice touch, and the balcony view was good.

Checking in at Raintree Resort Suites at Sunway Pyramid Tower felt like showing up at a storage closet. The “reception” was just a random desk shoved under the stairs. The room was filthy, with mould growing up the shower curtain, and there wasn’t any soap, hand towels, or anything else. Hot water only came from the shower; everywhere else was cold. They showed no pride in cleanliness, service, or basic hospitality. One of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. Avoid it, you’d be better off sleeping in your car.

My room was at the second dead end, and the corridor leading to it was really dim. The worst part was seeing a staff member spit on the floor as he came out of the lift. I couldn't stop thinking about it. The carpet felt so gross after that. A horrible experience.

My family and I had to leave in the middle of the night because the problems in the room made the stay unbearable. There were bed bugs on the bed, and my wife was bitten. The air conditioning also wasn't working properly. These issues disrupted our stay and were far below what I expected. I wrote an official complaint to management, but Raintree suite management didn't even bother to respond.
