Skye Hotel

The room was dirty, with unwashed cups and sheets that smelled strongly of smoke. The worst part was the highway noise coming through the windows. It was loud all night and I couldn’t get proper rest. In the rooftop bathroom, the ceiling leaked and there were sharp edges. You have to climb stairs to reach the shower, and the wet surfaces felt slippery and unsafe. For a similar price, nearby places offer cleaner rooms, less noise, and safer facilities.

When we entered, the room had a sharp, acidic smell, and there was a beetle crawling across the table. The room was very dirty and in poor condition. After sleeping there, the bedsheet made my skin break out. The toilet and shower head were old, and the general cleanliness and surroundings made it uncomfortable to stay. The staff didn’t help at all. Definitely a terrible experience.

I called to ask about a room and got a rude response from a staff member who struggled to communicate clearly. It was frustrating and unprofessional. A hotel charging customers should provide better service. Please hire Malaysian staff or someone who can speak proper English, or you’ll keep losing customers.

It’s a short walk to the Sunway entrance, and for the price this is good value compared with the more expensive hotels nearby. The room was clean, though the bed had a few small stains. The towels smelled odd, so it’s better to bring your own. The lift worked fine. They only provide simple soaps, with no toothbrushes.
