Swing & Pillows @ Kelana Jaya, Selangor

Public transport is easy to reach from here, and the location is really good. The room had enough equipment and was comfortable, and the staff were friendly, especially Afroza. You can hear some noise through the walls, though it usually wasn’t a major issue. I’d come back.

Clean room for a good price, and Mr Nadim at reception was friendly and gave me good service. I’d recommend this hotel to guests. Thank you, swing & pillow hotel!! ~ms hanies sofea~

Please read this before booking. I’d give zero stars if I could. This was a terrible experience and I was very disappointed. When I first checked in, the previous guest hadn’t checked out yet. I took a photo when I walked in. They moved me to another room, but that one hadn’t been cleaned either. The towels had been used, and the toilet wouldn’t flush. I didn’t want to give them a third chance and asked for a full refund. The Indian boy staff member didn’t seem to care how I felt and offered a third room that was “not available for sale.” Why offer it to me if it wasn’t available for sale? It felt like they were refusing to own their mistake and leaving me to sort it out myself. It was 1am. Where was I supposed to go, sleep in an unclean room, maybe someone else’s room? While I was trying to resolve this at 1am, I remember the Indian boy staff member sitting there talking on the phone with his friend. What kind of attitude is that? Was I just meant to handle it on my own? I was the customer. If they don’t care about customers, they shouldn’t be open for business. Management needs to take responsibility for hiring the wrong staff and look into the night shift staff member’s behavior on 31/1.

For the price, this is good value if you need a clean, decent place to sleep for a short visit. Shops, places to eat, and public transport are close by, so getting around was easy. It’s not a luxury stay, of course.
