Inside, the apartment was pleasant and had useful basics, including a TV, fridge and electric stove. There are three rooms, with space for two people in each. The catch is the fourth-floor walk-up, so be ready for the stairs.

The interior was fairly comfortable, though getting to this fourth-floor unit means taking the stairs since there's no elevator.

The bathrooms were a problem: water came out very slowly, especially when both were being used, and their lights felt scary at night. The TV didn't work either, and the floor was a little dirty when we checked in. It's a three-room, two-bathroom homestay on the fourth floor, which gets cramped if you're carrying lots of things. No wonder it's so cheap on Booking.com.

The house is on the third floor in a nice location, but the surroundings are awful, including dirty stairs. There are no taps in the toilet for washing or ablution, and no arrow showing the Qiblah. The TV gets no channels. Not worth what we paid.

It's a comfortable house with all the equipment you need. Getting around to interesting places doesn't take too long. Since there's no elevator, it's probably better suited to younger people.
