The Grand Beach Resort

We had a lovely family stay, and the staff were accommodating. The beach is only a short walk away, with soft sand and a soothing sea breeze. It wasn’t crowded, so the surroundings felt peaceful. The resort has a comfortable, nostalgic feel. The rooms aren’t ultra-modern, but ours was clean, cozy, and well kept. It made settling in easy. A simple, comfortable option if you like being close to the beach and having a relaxing atmosphere.

I checked out as soon as reception told me there wasn’t a better room available, even if I paid to upgrade. They said there were no rooms left and all the rooms were the same. If that’s what staff tell a guest, something is badly wrong. I don’t understand why a company would bring paying customers here for a course or seminar. The room felt like the wrong place from the moment I walked in. The carpets were filthy and smelled awful, the walls were stained and peeling, and it all looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned or repaired for years. The whole building had an abandoned, creepy feel. In the bathroom, there was mold on the tiles, rust down the toilet, a cracked bathtub, stains everywhere, and fixtures falling apart. Housekeeping seemed barely done, if at all. Nothing here feels like a resort. It felt like a run-down, forgotten building nobody cares about. I left feeling dirty and cheated. It didn’t feel safe or sanitary, and I’d tell people to stay far away.

I really liked the food here. The cafe staff were friendly, and I had lunch here a few times. Good food for a good price. The room is old, but for the rate I’d say it’s a good stay. Nice view and a private beach.

The balcony door wouldn’t close or lock properly, which felt like a serious safety issue. The wardrobe was badly damaged, and the furniture was worn out and stained. The pillows and sheets were yellowish and dirty, so it was hard to feel comfortable or clean. Even the toilet was awful, run down, with bowls that didn’t work and mirrors covered in stains. The room smelled musty and neglected. The place felt like a horror movie from the start, with dim hallways like a creepy alley, stained carpets, dirty curtains, and dust hanging off the corners like cobwebs. This so-called resort was a nightmare and absolutely not worth the money. If you care about hygiene, safety, or your peace of mind, stay away.
